You See What This Life Is About Chris Copeland?
With the beloved New York Knicks literally at the very bottom of the standings in the Eastern Conference, without bashing them, it is almost virtually impossible to conjure up some story worth telling on Killing The Breeze. But at last we have Chris Copeland. Copeland, who isn’t even on the Knicks’ roster anymore, decided to take his talents back to New York City and all hell seemed to break loose outside of the 1 Oak nightclub in Manhattan.
Multiple Victims Stabbed
Reports say that Chris Copeland and friend (at first rumored to be his wife), Saltara were arguing outside of 1 OAK at 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. Shezoy Bleary, a 22-year-old man then approached the 2 and said something to them, in which Copeland responded by telling him to leave them alone. Bleary then proceeded to pull out a knife, stabbing Copeland in the stomach and elbow, then stabbing 28-year-old Saltara in the buttocks, breast, and arm…SHEESH! as if Bleary didn’t get all his frustrations out already, he then turned to his 53-year-old friend Somani, and stabbed her in the stomach!
Chris Copeland, a 6-foot-9 forward who played his rookie season for the Knicks, now plays for the Indiana Pacers who were in town to play the orange and blue in the Garden Wednesday night. The game obviously went on without Copeland as he was in stable condition at a New York hospital. In some good news, none of the injuries to either victims seemed life threatening, and the 22-year-old serial-stabber, Shezoy Bleary, was indeed arrested at the scene in which the knife was recovered.
Atlanta Hawks In Trouble
Copeland, whom is averaging a mere 6.2 points along with 16.6 minutes a game in his two years with the Pacers, shouldn’t be missed on the court too much. But for another side story in this NBA nightmare in NYC is that Atlanta Hawk’s players, Thabo Sefolosha and Pero Antic, were at the same club causing a ruckus of their own. Both Pero and Thabo were arrested for reportedly “trying to prevent police from setting up a crime scene.” The two were charged with obstructing governmental administration, and to make matters worse, in the act of resisting arrest, Thabo broke his leg which will now leave him out for the entire season due to the severity of the injury. Why do they pay these guys millions again?
