You See What The Beauty of a Planner Is?
We all know how long days can be, how endless weeks can seem, and how lengthy a month can be drawn out. Usually, there is little to no consistency with plans. Default schedules of classes, work, cooking, and sleep (if any) exist, but things tend to pile up in the most unorganized ways possible. One week may be incredibly slow and boring, and the next may be jam packed with emergencies, last minute meetings, the flu, or nights filled with work you procrastinated.
What’s worse is that we can’t avoid this. It’s inevitable. No matter how much we prepare for it, life is never 100% consistent. The only thing we can do is plan ahead, and this is where a planner comes in handy. Many may argue that using a planner seems like more work than a helpful tool, but the benefits that can arise from writing down everything are worth the extra minutes of writing.
Preplanning Creates an Advanced Schedule
Remembering to write down every plan you make may be a hassle, but you’ll thank yourself when you open next week’s agenda to find everything laid out for you. That 5 minutes you took out of your study time two weeks ago to write down a show you wanted to go to will help prevent you from overbooking yourself, or worse, double-booking yourself. Planning out your days ahead of time will make it easier to figure out how much you can truly handle in one day, and it will give you a good reason to say no to things. “Don’t believe me? See here.” No one can argue with a note made a month ago, and you’ll officially be saved from having to join them on some last minute errand.
You Don’t Have to Try Remember Everything
You’re brain can only handle so much. If you’re trying to remember you’re daily agenda along with everything else you have to do, you’re bound to forget something. As much as we like to think that we have an impeccable memory, and that we’ll TOTALLY remember that one thing that one dude told us was being held on the second Tuesday of the month, we probably won’t. When we get busy, with last minute or pre-planned things, we aren’t likely to remember little details. Making sure to write down EVERY LITTLE thing will help us stop wasting time trying to recall plans and will help us focus solely on what it is we need to do.
You’ll Achieve Peace of Mind
Because you’ll have everything taken care of you and not have to worry about remembering everything, imagine the stress that will be lifted from your head. Being able to go about your day without having to worry about whether or not your forgetting something is the ultimate level of relief. Yeah, it may seem a little to hard to attain, but I asure you that it is possible.
