Nick Young Can’t Protect Iggy Azalea From The Truth
As if dealing with the constant beatings opposing teams have been handing the Lakers isn’t already tough enough to deal with, Nick Young has to focus a lot of his energy on defending his superstar girlfriend, Iggy Azalea…again. On an episode of ESPN’s Sportscenter, anchor Robert Flores took the ultimate shot at the “Fancy” rapstress.
“And what did we learn? We learned that according to the Lakers’ Nick Young a dolphin recently tried to kill him. So Nick, while dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend is trying to kill hip hop. Let’s call it even, OK?”
A blatant low-blow by the now 10-year ESPN anchor that no one would have ever seen coming. The video went viral the second it hit the tube, so you know “Swaggy P” wasn’t going to let this one slide.
Nick Young opened up a can of whoop-ass… on Twitter, because God forbid anyone begins to “put them paws” on each other if you’re a public figure. Although I’d have to commend Swaggy for getting pretty aggressive and even a tad “gangsta” with some of these tweets in which he directly tweeted with Robert.
“@RoFloESPN you job is to talk about sports not what me and my chick got going on.”
“@RoFloESPN so off the fact you that was cool to say, don’t sit right with me so we got a problem.”
Since these Sports Channels want to like they BET we shall see

Flores’ response to Swaggy? Considering he’s one of the most consistent faces we see on Sportscenter, we can assume he knew he wasn’t going to get let off the hook by Iggy’s boo.
Fortunately, the folks at Sedano and Stink radio show snagged him up and asked him a few questions the whole world wanted to confront him about. And just when you thought he couldn’t make matters worse:
“So if Swaggy makes fun of your girl, how is that going down?”
“Well, I don’t think Swaggy wants to be making fun of my wife. She will put the paws on him. She’s from down south, and those southern gals are not to be messed with. Take it from me.”
But he made sure not to leave that station without one last jab. When the thought of Young taking a shot at Flores occurred:
“If you look at his numbers, there is a 70% chance that—if he takes a shot at me—he’s going to miss. I’m just looking at the numbers, so I’m good.”
WOW, does this guy have some cajones? I can’t lie — my respect for him as an anchor just shot through the roof, keep it locked here in case this story develops, which I’m certain it will.
