I Got You: Fantasy Football 2015 – Round 1, Pick 5
We use a 12 team snake draft in the Yahoo Fantasy Football format.
Round 1, Pick 5
Gronk at 5. Easy come, easy go.
Round 2, Pick 20
A.J. Green is an elite receiver in this league. I expect him to bounce back this year.
Round 3, Pick 29
In a choice between Gore, Gordon and Forsett, I went with the upside in Gordon. I am low on Forsett high in the draft.
Round 4, Pick 44
Jonathan Stewart will be even more important for Cam minus Benjamin. Remember, Stewart is a good receiver out of the backfield as well.
Round 5, Pick 53
Keenan Allen is the clear number 1 in San Diego. He has replaced Antonio Gates as Philip Rivers’ favorite receiver.
Round 6, Pick 68
Chris Ivory is climbing up a lo of draft boards. The Jets really have few other options.
Round 7, Pick 77
Jarvis Landry has established himself as he clear 1 in Miami. He is not only his best, he’s Tannehill’s favorite receiver.
Round 8, Pick 92
The more I think about Chip Kelly, the more I like Nelson Agholor. He and Amari Cooper could have huge years similar to last year’s rookie class.
Round 9, Pick 101
Tevin Coleman is the most explosive in the Atlanta backfield. He is a rookie.
Round 10, Pick 116
DeVonta Freeman is the more experienced in the Atlanta backfield. He was drafted last year.
Round 11, Pick 125
Kendall Wright is the 1 in Tennessee. He has emerged as Mariota’s favorite receiver.
Round 12, Pick 140
Jameis will start for me as a 12th round pick. I am more than comfortable with that.
Round 13, Pick 149
Marcus Mariota will backup Jameis. Fantasy mimics reality.
I auto-drafted the Miami Defense with the 164th pick in the 14th round and kicker Nick Folk with the 173rd pick in the 15th round.
This was a near perfect draft. This team is nothing but starters with high upsides with no weaknesses as far as opportunities are concerned.
