Sinatris
Lyrical, witty and refreshing describes the lyrical talents of Chicago artist Sinatris. Born Dec 5th, a Sagittarius, Sinatris adopted his stage name from his actual government name, wanting to connect personally with his fans.
Raised in Chicago and the south suburbs with his mother, stepdad and four brothers, he used basketball and even “footworking” in his early years as a way to escape the hardships he endured. It wasn’t until the age of 18 that Sinatris started to take music seriously and began making songs and battle rapping locally.
Since 2005, the Chicago MC has performed in over 1500 shows, released multiple mixtapes, received local and national radio play, and garnished co-signs from major artists such as Sway Calloway, Styles P, Dj Drama, Twista and Shawnna.
With hard-hitting punchlines, delivery and a distinct realness that captivates listeners, Sinatris has already created a huge buzz.
Winning lyricist of the year in 2010, 2011 and 2012 at the “Midwest Rappers Ball,” Sinatris was the runner up in the 2012 Jack Daniels “Who Got Bars” competition, and used that experience to win the Sept 2013 Jack Daniels “JackNForBeats Who Got Bars” contest. That win netted him $5000 and a trip to Houston with the tour as a judge and a special guest performer. He won the DTLR X Converse Freestyle contest (which landed him a trip to compete in New York with Sway), and also took home “Mixtape Of The Year” and “Lyricist Of The Year” at the 2014 Chicago #Respect The Artist awards.
His songs “Give It To Me Now” and “I Made It” have received radio spins locally, nationally and through multiple Internet stations as well as satellite radio. The Chicago MC was recently celebrated on Allhiphop.com as one of the next major artists to blow up out of Chicago. Sinatris has shared stages with major artists such as T.I., Twista, Trey Songz, Dj Drama, Freeway, Styles P, Shawnna, Juelz Santana, Trina, Dorrough, Trick Daddy, Rich Boy, Crime Mobb and Bone Crusher.
