Choppin’ It Up: Episode 8 – Francis Tefarikis (Part 1)
In last weeks session of Choppin’ It Up with Adrian Prelvukaj brought to you in part by none other than Killing The Breeze, I sat down (with myself) to discuss mainly my feelings on the grammys, and how we need to stop paying attention to Kanye’s antics by now. I also touched base on the annoyance of renting cars these days and how complex the whole process has turned out to be. Of course I discussed a little basketball with it being all-star weekend but this week I take the NBA talk to a whole other level as I sit down for a two-part-podcast with NBA super fan Francis Tefarikis aka Frank The Bank aka Francois.
Being avid New York Knick fans, Francis and I dissect the possibilities of who they can possibly acquire in the future. With Marc Gasol being our top prospect, we discussed him being an unlikely option considering the way he and the Memphis Grizzlies have been performing as of late. Also, with Frank being a huge Goran “Dragon” Dragic fan, he was heart broken when news broke that the serbian took his talents to south beach instead of the big apple. And of course, we can’t talk recent Knickerbocker basketball without discussing the loss of Amar’e Stoudemire. Just when I thought we’d be on the same page and bash the 4-eyed 100 million dollar man, Francis displayed somewhat of a soft spot for the big fella. Claiming him to be the pioneer or should I say trail blazer in being the first to come to New York to help revive it and relive its glory days.
Aside from discussing the premier of the NBA fashion show and Russell Westbrook being a perfect fit in New York (in my dreams) me and Frank “the Bank” really got into the hectic trade deadline that took place the previous Thursday. Listen in to find out who we thought came out the biggest winners in this years trade deadline and please stay tuned for part 2 of this sit down next week. Till next time.
