Molesting Boys OK In Fight Against the Transgender Bathroom?
This shift in policy could also create major public safety issues by putting citizens in possible danger from deviant actions by individuals taking improper advantage of a bad policy.” – North Carolina Senator Pat McCrory
A man walks into a bathroom. He’s supposed to be there, he says, and nobody questions him. He sees a kid. Watches the kid undress to use the toilet. Stares at the kid’s genitals. Then he grabs the small, vulnerable 10-year-old and has his way.
This has to stop. This horrible thing cannot happen. To protect our children, I’m proposing a bill that there should be separate bathrooms for men and boys. I’m tired of sick old perverts preying on innocent children. So no more men in the same bathroom as one that boys use.
That’s basically the excuse — no sorry, the “reason” — for 11 states (and some school districts), led of course by Texas, to sue President Obama for his guidance supporting gender-identity-based restrooms in schools. This lawsuit is just the newest knee-jerk reaction of an increasingly threatened socially conservative anachronism, another widening of the grand division of the ignorant and old from the rest of America. And just as it was in the fight against gay marriage (and currently is in the fight against marijuana), this is prejudice wrapped up with false logic to pretend to be fact, like a wet turd squeezed into a cheap blue box and passed off as a Tiffany’s diamond.
Even if there was no other evidence, my example above should be enough — if someone is a sexual predator who likes to molest children, he’s just as dangerous in a men’s room as a women’s room. The psychosexual disorder that propels predators to view children sexually (much less act on that vision) does not necessarily discriminate male versus female. So, to play the cracked-logic game these Magnificent 11 freedom fighters are playing in their lawsuit, basically they’re saying it’s okay for grown men to be able to assault little boys but it is not okay for them to do so to little girls.
So Texas AG Ken Paxton (the champion of this lawsuit), why do you think it’s better for men to molest boys than girls?
God I hope somebody asks him that. For now, let’s stop playing his game and play our own: That is, let’s look at things with an eye to fact-based logic. Crazy.
So A Stranger Walks Into a Bathroom and Molests a Girl — Said Nobody
This new lawsuit claims to be for protecting our young’uns from all those creepy men who will dress like women, go into bathrooms and molest a young girl. Because no doubt similar situations have happened before and will therefore just happen more often now that this action’s invited the fox into the hen house, right?
Thing is, there’s absolutely no factual backing for this theory. National numbers put the amount of children molested by strangers at no more than 14% and the DOJ pegs the number of children sexually abused by strangers at 10% . North Carolina was the first to pass legislation stating that people must use the restroom associated with their birth agenda, yet according to a local news article, the head of a child advocacy group said only 2% of molestation cases involved strangers and none were perpetrated in bathrooms.
But maybe there’s some truth in this transgender thing being a threat. I mean, no doubt plenty of men have dreamed of going in the girl’s bathroom, watching chicks undress and pee, right? So how many times have men dressed like women to abuse children (or anybody) in bathrooms?
Dude Looks Like a Lady — Rapes Like a Man
There have been plenty of states that already passed laws allowing restroom access based on gender identity. Mostly northern states like Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon. Have they had any issues?
And how about the other states — if men will dress like women to assault women in bathrooms now, no doubt they’ve done it before, right?
Nope. Absolutely never has a transgender person assaulted somebody in a restroom. It’s simply never happened.
Or maybe it has? An article from the bastion of journalistic excellence, the Daily Wire, listed 5 times transgender men abused women and children in restrooms. It’s about the only list of instances I could find but that’s enough to take pause and reappraise the transgender bathroom, right?
Then I read it. One of the cases was a man who assaulted several women in a women’s shelter in Toronto before being arrested. So this has nothing to do with the law; it was simply a deranged conman in action. Then there were three cases of peeping toms: One dressed in drag to video women and children in mall dressing room restrooms; one brazenly walked into a women’s restroom sans disguise to do the same; and another case was a couple Toronto college students who took advantage of gender neutral restrooms to video girls. These are, of course, tricks as old as time; in fact peeping toms violating a women’s room was a central scene in the 1980s comedy “Porky’s” and people just thought it was funny boys-being-boys. At the same time, as for the Toronto school situation, sexual assault on college campuses is an epidemic regardless of transgender bathroom laws. But in the final case, a man went into a girl’s locker room at a pool and watched women undressing, saying he’s allowed to be there. The other instances reference other Daily Wire articles so the reporting is perhaps a bit one-sided. But this one, the most egregious, a man standing in a community women’s room watching girls change for swim team, references a news article.
In the news article it references, they mention the guy as possibly a protester. That seems to be the general theme in other news articles mentioning the situation. Likely a man trying to make a point, especially since he never identified as transgender and just changed into boardshorts and ogled females.
So a likely explanation for this: Some wack social conservative protests this disgusting Obama action and gets to do it by watching girls get changed — no doubt that gave him a few jollies. Because there’s more precedent for conservative politicians committing sexual crimes in bathrooms than there is for transgender citizens. So keep an eye out for more social conservatives “protesting” transgender bathrooms by standing in women’s rooms, watching little girls change.
What’s Fighting the Transgender Bathroom Really About?
Just like the love of Trump, the hatred of immigrants, the decrying of the Federal Government’s territorial supremacy and gun rights, this isn’t really about the particular issue the protesters claim it is. It’s about fear. In this case, it’s not about whether or not a man who identifies as a woman can use the bathroom that matches the gender she identifies with; it’s about fear of the unknown that accompanies the issue of gender identity.
Are these Magnificent 11 afraid that men dressed as women will prey on their daughters? What about women who identify as men, who have taken hormones and lived a life that has helped them grow into their nascent masculinity, hell has bulked them up? If this declaration is truly about safety, why aren’t the plaintiffs afraid that a big Chaz Bono type, forced to use the women’s room, will start attacking women? They’ve already made claims that transgender people are sexual deviants. The idea of a person born physically a woman who has finally aligned with his maleness assaulting women in the bathroom he is forced to use sounds just as likely as everything else the Magnificent 11 is throwing out.
For those brave legal eagles, though, this is also fear of social evolution, where for the first time in human history people born differently no longer have to feel afraid or get bullied for being publicly what they were born to be. Because gender identity is the only part of this debate that has been documented. The only bit of ACTUAL fact-based evidence points to the fact that gender identity is every bit as real as racial identity or sexuality; every bit as real as the need to breathe and eat, as the basic human desire for life. As real as the fact that bullies eschew logic for their own prejudices, disregard discussion in exchange for holding tighter to their own flawed theories because without those, if they couldn’t trust their own hatreds and fears, then they would have to look at themselves and really wonder: Just what exactly has my whole life been based on up to now? And am I actually the bad guy?
Obama’s guidance stands against the bullies who, as always, confuse their own prejudices and conjectures with incontrovertible truths to fight back against what is simply an inundation of their fucked up worldviews. Like all bullies, history will not look well upon them and they will not win.
Maybe it’s the classic example of protesting too much. Perhaps these conservative men simply wish they could admit they are attracted to transgender women, or wish they themselves could be honest about their gender identity.
Or maybe Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Arizona’s Department of Education, Maine Gov. Paul LePage, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah and Georgia – with Texas and AG Paxton on the glorious lead horse, of course – just believe that these phantom assaults should be confined to their own gender-specific restrooms. Little girls are weak and need to be protected from male predators; little boys should be tough enough to fight grown-up assailants.
Or maybe, just maybe, AG Paxton really thinks male pedophiles should only be allowed to molest little boys.
