Planned Parenthood Is Simply A Means To Demonstrate That Men Run This
Two anti-abortion rights activists who covertly recorded themselves discussing fetal tissue with Planned Parenthood staff are facing felony charges in California, for allegedly violating state law by filming people without their permission. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced the charges against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt on Tuesday, saying the state “will not tolerate the criminal recording of confidential conversations.” In a statement, Daleiden called the charges “bogus” and reiterated claims that Planned Parenthood has violated the law by selling fetal tissue.
There were 12 state investigations. Prosecutors examined the evidence and in Texas they thought they had enough to prosecute Planned Parenthood. According to a Grand Jury, they did not.
Daleiden released initial footage that did not include Planned Parenthood representatives explicitly say they cannot sell the fetal tissue for a profit. Daleiden later released the entire video that did include this context; however, the initial release excluded those statements purposefully.
Defunding Women’s Health
Vice President Pence cast a tie-breaking Senate vote to pass legislation that will allow states to withhold federal funds from Planned Parenthood and other health care providers that perform abortions. The measure, which now goes to President Trump for his signature, dismisses an Obama-era rule banning states from denying federal funds to such organizations. Pence’s vote was needed to break a 50-50 tie. Republicans Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska (two women) broke with their party, voting against the measure. Since 2011, 13 states have restricted access to such grants, disrupting or reducing services in several instances.
The Vice President Does Not Trust Himself Around Women Other Than His Wife
In 2002, Mike Pence told the Hill that he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and that he won’t attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side, either. Ok.
Why does he think that every interaction he has with a woman is so sexually charged that it’s only safe to be around them if there are other people there, too? Of course, this is unless someone might be drinking, in which case even the presence of a crowd isn’t enough to prevent…something from happening.
If this is what he needs to do to protect his marriage, to each his own. But this seems to be a Pence problem as opposed to women being seductresses and temptresses that require sobriety and separation from at all costs. This brings me to a larger point.
This Is About Men, Not Planned Parenthood
It is widely held belief worldwide, including the United States, that men having wide control over women is actually a form of benevolent guardianship. How women dress, whom they date, and control over their reproductive system must be controlled by men in order to protect them from themselves because they don’t know any better and are susceptible to all kinds of things found outside of the bible.
This is about men believing that birth control should be rejected for large families are a sign of God’s blessings. Men rule over the household and included in that household is his woman whose influence is limited to that household. It’s not the ordinary nor fitting role of women to work alongside men as their functional equals outside the home in business, government nor the military. Planned Parenthood is just a way for men to extend this sphere of influence over women. Nothing more.
