Fantasy Football: 3rd pick

Fantasy Football: 2nd Pick

Round 1 Pick 3

Lesean McCoy went 1st and Jamaal Charles went 2nd. That means Adrian Peterson was my selection for the 3rd pick.

Round 2 Pick 22

Brees, Rogers and Manning were all gone. While Jordy Nelson is projected some 12 spots higher in production, I took Randal Cobb here for, as I stated in previous drafts, I believe he is the lead receiver in Green Bay.

Round 3 Pick 27

This is atleast the 3rd time that I have had to choose between Victor Cruz and Julius Thomas. Cruz was my choice here based on those previous drafts.

Round 4 Pick 46

I drafted DeSean Jackson here. This completed my receiving corp with three of my 7 targeted guys being drafted.

Round 5 Pick 51

I had a choice between Stafford, who i have rated as the 4th qb, and Jordan Cameron who is my 4th tight end. Again the quarterback pool is deeper than the tight end pool so Cameron was my pick.

Round 6 Pick 70

I still had my choice of quarterbacks here of Romo and Brady. With only 5 picks until my next choice, I banked on one of them being available then. I got my man Trent Richardson.

Round 7 Pick 75

My gambled paid off as Brady was available though Romo was off the board. It seems weird for Brady to fall this far, but who is he throwing to?

Round 8 Pick 94

I chose Steven Jackson here over Ben Tate because of their offenses. I chose him over Brandin Cooks and Sammy Watkins because of positional need. My receivers are the workhorses of my team. The more viable running backs, the better.
I was able to get Ben Tate (9th) and handcuff Terrence West (10th) to him. I got Devonta Freeman (11th) to handcuff with Steven Jackson. I backed up Cameron with LaDarius Green (12th) and Brady with Johnny Manziel (13th).

Final Team

QB Tom Brady
WR Randal Cobb
WR Victor Cruz
WR DeSean Jackson
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Trent Richardson
TE Jordan Cameron
Flex Steven Jackson
BN Ben Tate – RB
BN Terrance West – RB
BN DeVonta Freeman – RB
BN LaDarius Green – TE
BN Johnny Manziel – QB
