Will Drink For Travel

“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller

Will Drink For Travel combines the love of traveling and seeing new places with the love of unique and native spirits. It’s a view into the wine, beer and spirits encountered while traveling. They aim to explore the land, people, customs, traditions, food and stories connected with the featured alcoholic beverage, for what better way to travel the world than one drink at a time?

Ashlee Tuck is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Will Drink For Travel. She’s from Baltimore, MD, but lives and works in Washington, D.C. Traveling has become her passion in recent years, with her favorite destinations thus far being Tanzania and Italy.

Her company provides unique insight into locations in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, South America, the United Arab Emirates, the U.S. and Washington D.C. This also includes featured cocktails of the month, specialty cocktails and spirit spotlights.

Ashlee’s not doing it alone. Her team includes: Andrea Williams, who loves traversing the globe as far and as frequently as her bank account and annual leave allows; Nyasha Chikowore who has owned a passport since birth, and while identifying as a Zimbabwean, has grown up on 3 different continents; Candice Coleman is a marketing coordinator, makeup artist, fitness fanatic and blogger; finally, Christie Cooper is a lover of all things fun, far away and good for the soul – especially a delicious cocktail.

Ashlee herself has appeared on Great Day Washington with co-hosts Markette Sheppard and Chris Leary to talk about low-cost airfare from BWI to Martinique and traditional Martinican cocktails. She also spoke of her favorite destinations and experiences abroad as a featured guest on Roland Martin’s Talking With Ray Baker.
